My favourite YouTuber Kate Jackson of The Last Homely House often says "get out of your head and into your hands". And I did exactly that when the blues hit during the pandemic. I learnt to quilt.  And the outcome is here for you to witness. You will see that I do not like to repeat myself. So much so that I have made only a single pair of identical quilted cushion covers from the time I started quilting. Repetition is for the assembly lines. I quilt to escape tedium, to find a haven amidst the chaos and to avoid what is being hailed as the Oxford word of the year!
